History of the Bible and its Validity

November 6, 2009 by James Houx

There's no denying it. 100% complete and undiluted Bible manuscripts have been lost (truth be told: they were probably thrown out and burned by antiChrist operatives). No originals remain (though some argue the case for a few individual books). Even our oldest copies are highly suspect. To make matters worse, if you look at history and put all the manuscripts side-by-side, you will find some of them have been distinctly altered. Their originators have changed key verses and removed others completely.

Putting the pieces together, the picture becomes clear that certain people have attempted to erase the real message of the Bible. This can be quite upsetting! You might wonder "How can we be certain of the truth? How can we know the real message?" Relax. There is hope. Fortunately, the history of deception and the altered translations themselves shed light on the real message.

Surely, it is logical that the real message would not be altered with such historical zeal (many lives were slain in the name of changing the Bible) unless it conflicted with the desires of powerful men. So the question becomes "What could the real message be that it would drive so many men to war against it?" The answer: that men should turn away from everything this world has to offer and submit directly to Jesus. This is a serious problem for anyone who holds power. If your followers stop heeding your greedy instructions because they trust in God alone, you've lost everything. For a power-mongering overlord, the solution is to change the message so that Jesus is no longer God -- just another man. After stripping Jesus of his credibility, it becomes easy to slip in whatever doctrines you wish. You can keep your kingdom and your mindless servants too!

Let us not be like so many who want to wipe God's name from the face of the Earth. God respectfully requests our faithfulness and love. Because He first loved us, we are invited to love him. Doing so requires our obedience to His commandments. We must cast off our evil ways and turn our hearts completely to Jesus Christ. The reward is eternal life with peace and joy in the presence of Almighty God. If you would like to share in that peace and joy, the answer is to be reborn by surrendering your life to Jesus. This is the essence of becoming a Christian. Click here to learn how.
