A Guide to Catholicism

If you are a Catholic, we recommend you read "Catholic Concerns" by Mary Ann Collins to get a better understanding of our perspective. Otherwise, the facts on this page may greatly upset you, and that won't do you any good. The video on this page also provides an excellent perspective for Catholics.

Mark my words; we do not hate Catholics. God commands us to love everyone, but He also commands us to expose false teachings and to remain rooted in His Word. This page does nothing more than point out honest and accurate facts about the Catholic church. If these facts bother you, remember this: it would be far better for you to experience the pain of facing the truth now than to be corrected by God on Judgement Day. If you are not a Catholic, you may want to skip further down the page.

Title: Catholicism - Crisis of Faith

Denial of Eucharist Results in a Curse

The Canon laws of the Roman Catholic Institution state:

"If any one shall deny that the body and blood, together with the soul and divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ, and therefore entire Christ, are truly, really, and substantially contained in the sacrament of the most Holy Eucharist; and shall say that He is only in it as a sign, or in a figure, let him be accursed." (Accursed means to be damned, under a curse.)

There you have it. If you don't agree that a piece of bread is Christ in physical form, you're going to Hell. These folks don't mess around.

The Vatican, Richest Organization in the World

"For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows."
1 Tim 6:10 (KJV)

The following quotes were originally published in "The Vatican Billions" by Avro Manhattan in 1983. These figures would be far more astonishing today.

"In a statement published in connection with a bond prospectus, the Boston archdiocese listed its assets at Six Hundred and Thirty-five Million ($635,891,004), which is 9.9 times its liabilities. This leaves a net worth of Five Hundred and Seventy-one million dollars ($571,704,953). It is not difficult to discover the truly astonishing wealth of the church, once we add the riches of the twenty-eight archdioceses and 122 dioceses of the U.S.A., some of which are even wealthier than that of Boston."

"...a member of the New York Catholic Conference, namely 'that his church probably ranks second only to the United States Government in total annual purchase.' Another statement, made by a nationally syndicated Catholic priest, perhaps is even more telling. 'The Catholic church,' he said, 'must be the biggest corporation in the United States. We have a branch office in every neighborhood. Our assets and real estate holdings must exceed those of Standard Oil, A.T.&T., and U.S. Steel combined. And our roster of dues-paying members must be second only to the tax rolls of the United States Government.'"

A History of Torture and Murder

October 23, 1641. Ireland - "Early in the morning the conspirators [Catholics] were armed and every Protestant they could find was immediately murdered. They showed no mercy. From children to the aged, they were killed. Even invalids were not spared. They were caught by complete surprise. They had lived in peace and safety for years and now found no place to run."

"Before the attacks, there was a time of healing when the Roman Catholics became friendly and warm... the Christians were so relieved that they let their guard down and assumed the Vatican had changed. This was their fatal mistake..."

Adolph Hitler himself confessed his admiration of the Vatican:

"I learned much from the Order of the Jesuits. Until now, there has never been anything more grandiose, on the earth, than the hierarchical organization of the Catholic church. I transferred much of this organization into my own party."

And about the Vatican's previous works, he said:

"As for the Jews, I am just carrying on with the same policy which the Catholic church has adopted for fifteen hundred years, when it has regarded the Jews as dangerous and pushed them into ghettos etc., because it knew what the Jews were like."
"The Nazi Persecution of the Churches" by J.S. Conway, Pgs. 25, 26 & 162.

Basis for Authority

"Bible Christianity and Roman Catholicism are doctrinally as far apart as the east is from the west. One is based on the Bible and the other on the traditions of men. So how can we [Protestants and Catholics] walk together without compromise? It's impossible."
"Smokescreens" by Jack T. Chick, Ch. 5

"Catholicism teaches some things that are Scriptural (such as the Resurrection of Jesus Christ). However, it does not have a Biblical worldview. This is because, according to Catholic doctrine, the traditions of men are more important than Scripture. As a result, Catholicism is influenced by unscriptural philosophies, unbiblical practices, and non-Christian religions.

Today there are a number of unscriptural worldviews that have influenced churches and individual Christians. One result is that many Evangelicals are becoming interested in Catholic mysticism and other aspects of Catholicism."
"Catholic Concerns" by Former Catholic Nun Mary Ann Collins, Pg. 13.

Make no mistake. If you want to know the true Jesus, Saviour of Men, you must not be led astray by demonic organizations who disguise themselves as God's children. Resolve to stay rooted in God's Word given to us in the Bible. Seek the leading of the Holy Spirit through ceaseless prayer and you will not falter.

Involvement in Secret Societies

The Vatican can be tied to nearly all conspiratorial movements. If you find this hard to believe, see the evidence for yourself: Secret Societies
