Religion

Oprah Building Her Own Church

November 7, 2009 by James Houx

After failing to understand how God could be "jealous", Oprah sought an easier religion. She's now given Him perfect reason to be jealous by teaching New Age to a wide audience. The real question is this: has Oprah been deceived by anti-Christ religious orders, or is she a cohort in their operation?

Fact

There's nothing "new" about New Age. Its teachings began in ancient paganism, but today it is perpetuated by Freemasonry. Oprah's support of New Age and her secret hand signs evidence that she is an agent of Eastern Star, sisters to the Freemasons.

An Interview with Elizabeth Lesser

If you feel that religion is some kind of stagnating formal system that isn't giving you what you want, you'll like what Elizabeth has to say, but beware! Spirituality is not just some longing in the human heart. It is a real connection between our hearts and the spiritual realm, a world beyond the physical, a world which is everlasting and more "solid" than what we touch and see. Elizabeth manages to avoid absolute truths about God, forgetting that our wants are selfishness, a sinful nature that will result in spiritual death.

In order for our deepest longing to be fulfilled, we must understand what is really going on in the spiritual world. The reality is that our connection with the Creator has been severed due to our sinful nature. We are stuck roaming this planet with a deep sense of guilt, fear, and anger -- aching for peace and reconciliation.

Elizabeth does not want to accept that she -- like the rest of us -- has been exiled from God for disobeying Him. Rather than confessing the truth shown by history and the knowledge in our own hearts, she would prefer that we all redefine spirituality -- trade that which is authentic for a house built of straw. The day is coming when the true Jesus who is Lord and Saviour will return, and every person will be judged according to his or her deeds. Those who have dug down deep and built their house on the rock will be welcomed into eternal joy with God, but those who have erected a facade will fall on themselves and be cast out from God's presence forever. Repent before its too late!

Reader, if you want to dig deep and build your house on the rock, a new and genuine relationship with Jesus Christ is the only way. To have your broken relationship with the living God repaired is to die and live again in Christ. This is what it means to become a Christian. To find out how, click here.
